I started in photography in 1974 with a handed down 35mm Yashica TL Electro X camera that my father gave me.  My current equipment consists of Canon 5d Mark III and Canon 5d Mark IV and Canon EOS R5 bodies and L and R lenses.  I also hold a FAA remote pilots license and fly a DJI Mavic 3 as well as a DJI Mavic 2 Pro.

Photography is a natural extension of my paintings and sculptures.  Color, composition and subject influence my decision on a particular shot.  Shooting primarily in color I enjoy the act of discovery the camera gives me.  Some images are quite straight forward while others are more abstract in nature.
